Hobby runs a real production app on a softkiln.com address — deploys, backups, secrets, monitoring and a status page. Pro is for apps other people depend on: it puts the app and its status page on your own domain, adds priority support, and private EU language models. The rule of thumb is the moment a client, a customer or an auditor is looking at it, you want Pro. Sharing access with colleagues is not part of it — that is Team, on the organization.
Team, at $25 a month for the whole organization — no per-seat cost and no minimum. Everyone you add can be given access per app, so a client sees only their own. It sits alongside the per-app price rather than replacing it: three Hobby apps and two colleagues is $45 for the apps and $25 for the organization.
Your monthly price for an app includes the same amount of usage — $15 on Hobby, $49 on Pro — covering compute, storage, bandwidth and backup storage. Most apps never reach it. If one does, you pay only for what it uses above the allowance, at cost. Your dashboard shows the running total and a per-resource breakdown at any time, so it’s never a surprise on the invoice.

What runs today is automatic secret scanning, which blocks a deploy that would expose credentials, and that is on every plan.
No — the prices above are exclusive of VAT. If your billing address is in Norway, 25% MVA is added and shown as its own line on the invoice, so $15 is billed as $18.75. Anywhere else, no VAT is added and the listed price is what you pay.
