# softkiln

> softkiln is an MCP-native hosting platform that takes the product you built with AI
> to production in minutes — domains, HTTPS, secrets, backups, monitoring and
> security are all handled. You drive everything from your editor or chat app by
> connecting to softkiln's remote MCP server.

## Connect over MCP

- **MCP endpoint:** https://softkiln.com/mcp/ (streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1).
- **Auth:** browser sign-in on first connect; your account is created automatically.
  No token to copy.
- **Claude Code:** `claude mcp add --transport http softkiln https://softkiln.com/mcp/`
  then run `/mcp` and finish the browser sign-in. Or install the plugin, which
  configures the server and adds deploy/go-live skills:
  `/plugin marketplace add softstars-as/softkiln-plugin` then
  `/plugin install softkiln@softkiln` — both typed at the Claude Code prompt,
  not in a shell.
- **Chat apps (ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Perplexity, Mistral Le Chat):** add a custom /
  remote MCP connector with the URL `https://softkiln.com/mcp/` and sign in.
- **Editors (Cursor, VS Code, Codex):** add an MCP server with the URL
  `https://softkiln.com/mcp/`.
- Once connected, ask the agent to create and deploy a product (a free trial needs no
  card): e.g. "create a product called my-app with a Postgres database and deploy it."
